Contract - Cell and Strain Development Scientist - Liverpool - 25K

My client is a biopharmaceutical development organisation providing strategic consultancy, world-class process development, clinical trial cGMP manufacturing and analytical development services for every significant biopharmaceutical product technology. They are currently looking for an experienced Cell and Strain Development Scientist to their team

The Cell and Strain Development Scientist will be required to construct cell lines/ strains, for the production of a wide range of Biopharmaceuticals using microbial mammalian and viral expression systems.

The ideal candidate will have an extremely strong Molecular Biology background including PCR and general cloning techniques, knowledge of sequencing and bioinformatic tools. The ideal candidate will also have a detailed knowledge of protein expression in mammalian and microbial systems. GMP experience is essential.
