Account Manager - Biotech - Scotland - 33K

My client is an International producer of laboratory supplies. They are the leader in the global research laboratory industry with worldwide sales in excess of $3 billion dollars, their business is highly diversified across products and services, geographic regions and customer segments. The company offers products from a wide range of manufacturers, to a large number of customers primarily in North America, Europe and other locations. Their principal customers are major pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, technology, clinical, food processing and consumer product companies, universities and research institutes, governmental agencies, environmental testing organizations, and primary and secondary schools.

The successful candidate will be expected to achieve sales targets and develop business within the set territory. Working closely with preferred suppliers you will aim to ensure clients needs are accurately met. You will be expected to develop the existing client database and to use the key business tools to help you drive performance.

The suitable candidate must be educated to degree level and have an extensive sales or account management experience. The ideal candidate for this role must have an extremely strong knowledge of the UK pharmaceutical and biotech markets.
