Job Description:

General Manager- Operations- 32K + Pension + Life Assurance + holidays- West Midlands

My clients specialise in design, manufacture and fabrication of storage materials both in conventional metal type and highly advanced modern plastic and composite based. They also provide fabrication and rotation moulding services.

The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Director the incumbent will be responsible to manage and lead a small team of 8 -10 personnel managing general and commercial operational area. The person will ideally be from a Technical background with experience in General Operations and Commercial Development operations gained strictly from metal fabrication or engineering manufacturing sector.

Skills Set:
Essentially you will have managed people and have a broad understanding of:
Manufacturing and Production Operations- Quality, HSE, 5s, Welding
+ Commercial Operations- Business Development and Support
+ Possess influencing and management skills

The Profile:
Coming from a Manufacturing or Engineering background you will be a dynamic individual with confidence to communicate across all levels, with influencing skills but also enjoy a hands on approach. You will work very closely with the Senior Director and play very important part in contributing towards success of the company.
